Foreign exchange student programs?

Hi, I am interested in becoming a foreign exchange student…
I am 15, almost 16..sophomore in high school.
I speak Spanish and I would like to be a foreign exchange student next year.
I was thinking of doing one of the summer programs?
Does anyone have a link to a website of a good program?
and if you have been one..what was your experience?

There’s lots of programs to choose from. The most reliable being AFS, YFU, ASSE, and Rotary. First I’d like to say something… Most summer programs cost almost as much as the full year programs, so if you have the chance to do a year program instead, you should just go ahead. After all, you’ll get to fully experience a country’s culture that way. If not, you could just stick with the summer program. You’ll have a great experience anyway. AFS, YFU, and ASSE tend to be a little on the expensive side, but you’re likely to get your first choice (of country, that is) and they offer several scholarships. Rotary is much more affordable, but not many people get their first choice, and they’re big on new languages, so if you’re looking to go to a Spanish-speaking country, you might have a harder time with them. They’re a great organization though.
